Module objects

Source
Expand description

The objects module: the declarative objects of the repository’s layer, listed, read and searched, and the one resolution of a majordomus:// URI that objects.get and the MCP resource read share.

Structs§

AnswerView
A URI a query projects (majordomus://repository), answered: the same fields a client reads on an ObjectView where they apply, the answer itself as data, and the text resources/read returns for the URI.
DriftedObject
One file of the layer that is no longer what the index read.
GetInput
The input of objects.get: which object.
ListInput
Filters; both optional.
ObjectList
The answer of objects.list: the matching objects, summarised, in URI order.
SearchHit
One search hit: the object, summarised, and the first matching line of its content.
SearchInput
The input of objects.search: what to look for, where, how much.
SearchResult
The answer of objects.search.
VerifyInput
The input of objects.verify.
VerifyReport
The answer of objects.verify.

Enums§

Comparison
How closely a file could be compared with what the index holds.
ObjectStanding
How one file stands against what the index read from it.
Resolved
What a majordomus:// URI names, resolved through the registry. This is the one rule objects.get and the MCP resources/read share, so that the tool, the HTTP route and the resource cannot answer one URI differently.
ResourceView
The answer of objects.get: what the URI resolved to, tagged by source the way a capability’s provenance is.

Constants§

SEARCH_DEFAULT_LIMIT
Hits returned by objects.search when no limit is given.
SEARCH_MAX_LIMIT
The most hits objects.search returns; a larger limit is clamped to this.

Functions§

module
The module.
resolve
Resolve a URI: the capability the registry projects at it, then the object behind a resource or the answer of a query. An unknown URI is NotFound; a registry naming an object the index does not hold is Internal; a query that refuses passes its refusal through, and any other failure of the query is Internal, naming the capability.
