The projections of the .proto document schemas: the JSON Schema beside each one, and the section list the shell tool reads its body contract from.

Both are committed. bin/majordomus doctor is pure shell and validates a fresh checkout with no Rust build having ever run, so the derived forms have to be in the tree; generate --check is what keeps them honest.
