pub const STALE_AFTER: Duration;Expand description
How long a picture of the repository is trusted as current when nothing announced a change.
crate::live::Live re-reads the repository whenever a git control file moves — a
commit, a checkout, a git add — and cannot see an edit to a tracked file that is never
staged. So an index, and a “working tree clean” read with it, can be wrong without
anything having moved. Past this window a surface says so instead of presenting the
picture as current. One window for both pictures, because they share the one blind spot.
