I3137 — Lumen is a declared term of the vocabulary, defined by the capabilities it composes
Once the owner accepts ADR 0209, add lumen to docs/CONCEPTS.md as a lowercase row naming the owner's mesh-wide view, listing the capabilities it reads (blackboard, peers, mesh, monitor) and the surfaces it appears on, in the same change as the first surface that says the word (docs/MAJORDOMUS_UI.md), so that case 28 reads the row and finds the term in use.

Objective
Once the owner accepts ADR 0209, add lumen to docs/CONCEPTS.md as a lowercase row naming the owner's mesh-wide view, listing the capabilities it reads (blackboard, peers, mesh, monitor) and the surfaces it appears on, in the same change as the first surface that says the word (docs/MAJORDOMUS_UI.md), so that case 28 reads the row and finds the term in use.
Why
The owner named it on 2026-10-18; rule project.no-new-nouns refuses any noun beyond docs/CONCEPTS.md, and the critique in the same thread warned that Lumen and Majordomus would otherwise compete module by module. Critique of 2026-10-18 (case-28-cannot-hold-the-term): case 28 reads only lowercase bold rows, and only outside CONCEPTS.md in docs/, lib/, bin/majordomus and share/. The term must therefore arrive with the first surface that says it, and only after the owner accepts ADR 0209. Proposed in ADR 0201 (The persistent runtime is the authority; every operator surface, Lumen included, is a client of it); ADR 0209 (Prismatic Lumen names the owner's mesh-wide view, and it owns no scheduler, event bus, store or API) (proposed; it carries no authority until the owner accepts it). Current state
git grep -i lumen returns nothing on master.
Desired state
One lowercase lumen row in docs/CONCEPTS.md, held by its mention in docs/MAJORDOMUS_UI.md and added after ADR 0209 is accepted; nothing else.
Scope
- docs/CONCEPTS.md
- .ai/repo/adrs/0209-prismatic-lumen-names-the-owner-s-mesh-wide-view-and-it-owns-no.md
- .ai/repo/adrs/0201-the-persistent-runtime-is-the-authority-every-operator-surface-l.md
- docs/MAJORDOMUS_UI.md
Out of scope
- A CLI command, MCP namespace or route named lumen before the owner decides it
- A capitalised or multi-word CONCEPTS row that case 28 does not read
Dependencies
None. This issue is a root of the graph.
What waits on this
Acceptance criteria
- test/cases/28_no_hardcoded_values.sh passes with the term
- The entry names only capabilities that exist
- The row is written lowercase as | **lumen** | so that case 28's vocabulary regex (^\\| \\*\\*[a-z ]+\\*\\*) reads it, and the same change names lumen in docs/MAJORDOMUS_UI.md so the check is neither failing nor vacuous
- The row is added only after .ai/repo/adrs/0209-prismatic-lumen-names-the-owner-s-mesh-wide-view-and-it-owns-no.md carries status: accepted
- The entry names blackboard.snapshot only once 5a's I2983 is on master, and depends_on I2983 is recorded on this issue when that record lands
- The objective's claim that case 28 refuses a lumen.* registry is not relied on: rule project.no-new-nouns and ADR 0209 hold that line
