pub enum ToolchainAvailability {
Installed,
Missing,
Unknown,
Mismatch,
}Expand description
Whether a declared toolchain is usable here.
Variants§
Installed
Installed, and its version answered.
Missing
The executable is not on the path.
Unknown
Nobody asked: this resolution may not run a subprocess for it, and no cache held it.
Mismatch
Installed and answering, and its version does not satisfy the one the repository declares. Reported as itself rather than as installed, because a binary that is on the path and answers the wrong version is the case a person otherwise debugs for an hour (ADR 0064). Decided only when both versions are plain dotted numbers.
