Expand description

Refused datagrams, by reason. The diagnosis of a hostile or misconfigured network: a mesh that hears garbage says so, with numbers, instead of being quietly empty.

Fields§

§oversized: u64

Longer than the datagram bound.

§malformed: u64

Not an envelope.

§version: u64

A protocol version this executable does not read.

§bounds: u64

Out-of-bounds fields.

§stale: u64

Outside the clock-skew window.

§signature: u64

A signature that does not verify.

§self_heard: u64

This node’s own datagrams, heard back and skipped.

§overflow: u64

Observations dropped because the queue to the registry was full: a flood, counted rather than held (I2133).
