pub enum Refusal {
Oversized,
Malformed,
Version,
Bounds,
Stale,
Signature,
}Expand description
Why a packet was refused. Every reason is a counter somewhere: refusals are the diagnosis of a hostile network, not silence.
Variants§
Oversized
Longer than MAX_DATAGRAM.
Malformed
Not the JSON shape of an envelope.
Version
A protocol version this executable does not read.
Bounds
More endpoints than MAX_ENDPOINTS, or an endpoint that is not host:port,
or an oversized field.
Stale
The timestamp sits outside MAX_CLOCK_SKEW_SECONDS.
Signature
The signature does not verify against the carried key.
