Who is working: a worker identity somebody supplied, never one inferred.

lib/session.sh is explicit about this and the type keeps the promise: absent stays absent. An inferred worker is indistinguishable from a recorded one the moment it is written down, and a record that attributes six days of somebody else’s work to the user account that happened to run the hook is worse than a record that attributes it to nobody.
