The homepage hero no longer shows the plan's issue counts by status (ready, blocked, active and the rest, index.html:154-158); the counts stay on /roadmap and /ui, where a reader comes for them. Rule homepage-tells-a-declared-story moves to version 2 without the clause that the hero's product view counts the plan, and homepage-check's product check follows it. Why
On 2026-10-22 an outside reviewer read 384 blocked against 228 ready and 5 active on the front page as a sign of scope out of control rather than discipline. The owner chose to take the backlog off the hero.
Current state
index.html:154-158 counts plan.issues by plan.statuses.issue from site/data/generated/plan.json; rule homepage-tells-a-declared-story v1:57-62 requires the counts in the hero's product view; homepage-check product (:904-916) fails when they differ from the plan.
Desired state
The hero shows no plan counts; /roadmap shows them; rule v2 and homepage-check agree, and a case refuses plan counts back on the hero.
